The AEOLUS Project was represented at the OMN2026 Conference in Montreal, Canada, where Pen-Sheng Lin presented the latest research results developed within the AEOLUS and SYMPHONY projects.
The presentation, entitled “Suspended Germanium-on-Silicon Waveguides for Long-Wave Infrared Ethanol Detection,” focused on the development of advanced photonic technologies for infrared sensing applications.
The work explores the use of suspended germanium-on-silicon waveguides for long-wave infrared detection, demonstrating the potential of integrated photonic solutions for highly sensitive chemical sensing.
The presentation at OMN2026 provided an important opportunity to showcase the progress of the AEOLUS Project to the international MEMS, photonics and nanotechnology research community, while also highlighting the collaboration between AEOLUS and the SYMPHONY project.
